Last 24th November the sutdents from Texas Tech University visited our school to make an exchange with our Secondary and Primary students based on the idea:
“Get involved !! Share your skills with others.
We can achieve our dreams and face all the problems together.”
TIMETABLE
9:30-10:30 Spanish Culture 4th Grade Secondary
Education ( Big Playground).Everything in Spanish.
- First
Meeting Activity: Exchange information among Spanish and American students about
name,age,likes and dislikes,future,what they think about Spain (15 minutes)
- Dancing
Class:Spanish students will teach them to dance salsa.
- Final
surprise dancing-
10:30-11.30 First group 1st,3rd,5th EPO.
12:00-13:00 Second group 2nd,4th,6th EPO.
AIMS:
Pupils
must play different games to get the treasure.
We will
mix classes from different levels for example 1st,3rd,5th EPO and 2nd,4th and
6th EPO. They will be divided into five groups of 15 people.
Cooperative
game at the same time in different places of school.Pupils will rotate in each
game:
1.Blanket
Toss:Blanket and tennis balls.All the group catch the blanket with the balls
and throw them trying not to throw them out.(OLDEST’S PLAYGROUND)
2.Pompadour:
Ask for the name and look for another player with at least four letters in
their name that are the same.Join hands.As many hand joined people at the end,
the better.(MUSIC CLASS)
3.Shoe
Twister: Everyone takes off one shoe and put it in the middle .You must take
one and find the player with the same shoe.When they find the other, they sit
down on the floor.(GYM)
4.Animals:Name three different pupils with the same animal ‘s name (we
can use cards or flashcards).No one is allowed to tell another the animal’s
name.The walk around making the animal’s sound.The first three with the same
sound,sit down and finish the game (ONE CLASSROOM)
5.Ballon up:
Keep two or three ballons in the air.(YOUNGEST’S PLAYGROUND)
